The urgent funds you give today will help Taronga address the emerging crisis, care for the rescued koalas in the Taronga Wildlife Hospitals as well as Taronga’s long-term work as we strive to turn around the trajectory of koala populations.
Before this emergency, Taronga has been building our long-term strategy to identify, connect and restore habitat for priority NSW koala populations.
The rehabilitation research we are also undertaking will improve the integration of these rescued and injured Koalas back into the wild.
Once these bush fires pass, there will still be a crisis for koalas. The next couple of years will be more important than ever for the long-term future of koalas.
Please donate today, your support at this time is more critical and urgent than ever.
